While nominally focussed on trains, planes, ships, buses, trams, cars and other vehicles, we are open to extending it to anything mechanical (past, present and future) that either carries or propels people and objects from place to place. Group members are kindly asked to let the Group Facilitator know what their particular transport interests are and also be prepared at some stage to share their particular knowledge, expertise and passion(s) with other members. All the talks, presentations and slide shows will be aimed at a general audience, so those not particularly interested in any topic will still enjoy the meeting and learn something new.
